Well, this guy was quite obviously fried even before falling onto tracks…

The incident took place just after 9pm on July 1, 2012 on F Train Tracks at 34th Street – Herald Square Subway Station in New York City. Some shirtless, seemingly wasted dude in his 20′s fell off the platform and since he was having hard time maintaining balance, the commuters tried to help him out of there before train could come rambling over him. Needless to say – getting a man who can barely stand on his two own feet out of the hole isn’t particularly easy.

The man eventually slipped out of the grasp and fell onto the electrified third rail, creating a shortcut which quickly electrocuted him right there before the eyes of the commuters. The electrocution started with violent seizure like shaking and followed with smoke rising out of his drunken ass.

There are two videos of the same electrocution – first video was filmed by a sane individual but doesn’t contain any juicy parts. It looks like the cameraman did not catch the beginning of the action, only the aftermath when the dude was already dead. You can see the police officer on the platform and the train stopped just before the entrance to the 34th Street station:

This second video caught all the action, including the electrocution induced convulsions and subsequent frying on the 3rd rail, but it was filmed by a retard with an Iphone so it’s vertical. There’s no help for the state of idiocy called Apple Fanboyship:

This is a video of an actual execution by an electric chair filmed in a prison in midwestern USA. The video was filmed by an underground, freelance filmmaker in violation of US federal and state laws. The cameraman made a deal with a warden who wanted to have the execution filmed himself, but couldn’t get it OK’ed via the official channels. The footage was featured in a 1980 documentary This is America Part 2, which was a sequence to popular 1977 shockumentary This is America.

Death by electric chair electrocution certainly doesn’t look like a painless feast. It’s probably one of the most agonizing ways to die for a criminal on a death row. If given a choice between the electric chair and a noose, I think the noose would be a preference. Even if you added guillotine or an execution by sword as still practiced in Saudi Arabia to the pool of choices, I still see the electric chair as the least favorable. Modern means of execution by lethal injection certainly seem as a huge step forward as far as elimination of undue suffering for the condemned.

When they zap the condemned for the second time, you can see smoke rising out of his head. The condemned also pissed himself during electrocution, which I’d say is not unexpected. Though as explained in the video earlier, the execution is carried out after the last meal so the condemned’s bowels are empty hence there is no release of fecal matter during electrocution. Still the stench must be horrid. They probably started putting cotton swabs in victims’ noses after noticing that blood came gushing out of nostrils during previous electrocutions.

Why bother paying attention to overhead power lines when you’re pushing a 2 storey high scaffold tower, right? Shit happens everywhere, but Chinese workplace safety is just as stellar as their driving.

I feel awfully sorry for these four painters. Disassembling and reassembling a scaffold tower is a pain in the arse – that’s why they put wheels on it so they could easily move it around. That keeps their workflow smooth but disregarding the danger of overhead power lines when handling anything high enough to touch them and capable of conducting electricity is nothing short of a death sentence. Might as well strap oneself onto an electric chair and have the timer turn on the power switch.

The painters fried instantly. You can see fire and smoke coming out of their body within instance. As soon as the scaff touched the power lines, they were all paralyzed and from there it just kept getting worse. Magically, one of the painters came to after 2 minutes of electrocution and started crawling his way out of there – with one extra collapse along the way. The other three died – two on the spot, one later in a hospital. The stench of burning flesh must have been horrid.

Chinese news site reported that scaffold’s rubber wheels melted from the contact with high tension wires and were stuck to the ground. One of the painters had face burned black with his hair standing up.

Easily one of the creepiest videos I’ve seen. The electricity makes them completely powerless and unable to escape its deadly grasp. Always said to see working people die trying to make money to feed their family:

The only thing worse than suffering severe burns would be to suffer severe burns in Africa. I can tell by looking at this photo that the man is in the world of pain and by the looks of it, he’s gonna be there for a while.

ZESCO (Zambia Electricity Supply Corporation Limited) is a state-owned power company producing about 80% of Zambia’s electricity. Should one take into an account power availability in Zambia, then ZASCO is also one of the most failed power companies in the world. Just one day before this incident occurred, Zambia’s main airport was without power for 8 hours, forcing the air traffic to redirect or hover above for long periods of time. Electricity just seems to be too damn complex for those people to handle.

Independently from the airport fiasco, three ZESCO employees were trying to switch on a breaker to restore power for Monze and Mazabuka after a day long blackout, but the breaker exploded in their faces, sending all three of them over to the world of pain with severe burns. Great job, Zambia.

Mexican copper thief went to fuck people up by stealing wires they rely on for delivery of electricity to their homes and paid the highest price for this selfishness. Fucker was electrocuted while all alone in a manhole and not found until a month later. By that time, much of what was left of him were bare bones.

The photos are from the city of Tapachula in the state of Chiapas, Mexico. The remains of the failed thief were found by a City Hall employee who was doing gardening work in a park next to the Boardwalk located on the 14th North Avenue, between 15th and 17th Street West. The worker was attracted to the manhole by pungent stench.

The identity of the failed thief remains a mystery as he had no Ids on person and turned into a skeleton while he was slowly rotting down there. Authorities could not even estimate his age so all they know about the thief is that we wore beige pants, red shirt and black flip flops – I knew there had to be flip flops there somewhere.

This photo was sent to me by a Best Gore member from Canada who wished to remain anonymous. Electricity is a mean ruler. You enter her reign, you better know what you’re doing and wear protective clothing cause one wrong move and you’re entering a world of pain (or a grave). Fellow in this photo survived, but had his hand and forearm severely burned. His hand in particular took severe beating. In submitter’s words:

A friend of mine works for a power company. I was told what happened but I can’t really recall all the specifics, but – apparently he was testing power with some sort of apparatus that failed and this power ended up entering through his hand and exited through his hip.

This happened near Regina in Saskatchewan, Canada. He was taken to Regina Hospital where they slapped some polysporin and gauze on him and said he should be good in a week. His wife is a nurse and made him go to the hospital in Saskatoon where they air lifted him via helicopter and admitted him right away.

I think something like 240 000 Watts travelled through his arm. He was told by the doctors and people he worked with that they can’t believe he is alive – something about that if his hip wasn’t grounded or touching something that he would have been dead for sure.

The plan for him is skin grafting, debridement and muscle/tissue therapy so he’s got a long road ahead of him.

It is unclear why the man climbed a high voltage electrical transmission tower, but it’s possible that he had suicidal tendencies. Although he could have just easily been on drugs or otherwise “disconnected”. Obviously, touching live power lines is a sure and fast way to get “reconnected”.

Emmure is a deathcore band from Queens, New York. On May 7, 2013 while performing live in Moscow, Russia, the band’s frontman Frankie Palmeri was electrocuted, seized up and fell on stage. As can be seen from the video, the guy who tried to help him received a jolt as well.

The electroshock was powerful enough to incapacitate Frankie Palmeri, rendering the band unable to finish out their set. They apologized profusely to their fans on Twitter and promised to make up for the botched concert soon.

30 year old, young looking woman was brutally beaten, tortured and murdered by an assailant who broke into her home. An old classic from east LA, California. A distraught, topless man, probably high on drugs balanced 40 feet above ground on high voltage power lines. Rescue workers came to try to get him down safely but the man wasn’t himself and yelled that he wanted to die. I have tried to find any news reports on this incident to have some sort of official explanation as what exactly happened to this man. I’m not sure which country this is, but I was thinking anywhere from Indonesia to the Philippines is likely.

From the pictures it is clear that he has been electrocuted. The location of his bloody head atop a transformer is the first give away, the arc burns on his detached body provide further clues.

How the decapitation occurred is purely speculative, but I’m guessing his neck was the primary contact point with the wires. It then appears to have eaten its way through his flesh with the help of several thousand volts.

I reckon it would have been a spectacular show, with plenty of sparks, flames and smoke to go along with his flapping arms and eventual body drop minus his head into the grass.

I wonder what he was doing up there. Maybe he lost a frisbee? I’d hate to think he was trying to steal wire, because that would make this a death by karma and I’d much rather feel sorry for him.

On Monday 13 January 2013 a group of day tourists from the city of Ribeirão Pires, São Paulo Brazil, were swimming at Guaruja, São Paulo, when an approaching thunderstorm caused them to leave the water.

A 36 year old woman returned to the shallows to escort a child back to shore when a lightning bolt struck her.

She was dragged from the water unconscious and died on the beach a few minutes later.

An amateur video captured the rescue of a worker who was electrocuted while fixing a billboard atop a shop in Los Próceres, El Salvador. Two men received electricity shocks while working on that rooftop, their names were Rafael Antonio Cañas and Marvin García. The video captured the extraction of one of them.

Both men are reported to have survived but are treated for injuries in a hospital. The incident happened on March 25, 2014.

In some countries, power distribution system is one hell of a mess. Doing anything on a rooftop is dangerous by virtue of being around a maze of cris-crossing wires.
